Vote411 Summary

In 2024, the League of Women Voters of Nebraska teamed up with the Greater Omaha and the Lincoln-Lancaster local leagues to get nonpartisan information out to voters in both English and Spanish about:

• 703 candidates in 476 races;
• 33 judicial retentions;
• 6 statewide ballot measures; and
• 10 special issues measures in 2 cities, Omaha and Lincoln.

Although candidate response rates slipped from 2022’s statistics, the voter response to our information on VOTE411 doubled! Almost 60,000 voters went to vote411.org to learn about the candidates, races and ballot measures on their ballots from a trusted source, the League of Women Voters.

This increase reflects the passion that we as League members have brought to our mission of “Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.” The League of Women Voters of Lincoln-Lancaster County is proud to have been part of this effort in 2024.
