Voter Education event at A Novel Idea Bookstore

LWVLL board members Jane Witte and Deb Dulgar were at A Novel Idea Bookstore to register voters. The bookstore also provided postcards for visitors to write to elected representatives.

One of our most important activities is to register voters at community events, high schools, libraries and grocery stores. It’s a fun and rewarding experience. You’ll be serving our community, AND most importantly, you’ll be helping someone to exercise her/his/their right to vote! VOLUNTEER NOW.

Renew your membership

In the past you either renewed online using our Paypal account or sent in an application form along with a check. Your information was then entered onto the national portal by our Membership Chair. That has all changed so that’s why it’s important for you to log on to the portal now. That’s how you can pay your dues and update your contact information. However, if you’d rather, you can still renew by sending an application and check made payable to LWVUS to us.

You can access your account at portal.lwv.org  Once in the account, you can check your profile (contact information) for accuracy and also renew your membership. You will be able to edit your profile if you need to change anything. Watch the Membership Portal Training video.

If you are prompted to complete a member survey, please complete it, as this will help us know how we can best serve our membership and help our members get involved.

For most, your renewal date was April 1st, so it’s time to renew now!

If you don’t wish to renew your dues online, you can access the application form. Make the check payable to LWVUS, mail it to our address: P.O. Box 5054, Lincoln, NE 68505 (include check and completed application form). If you wish to also make a tax-deductible contribution to our League, then include a 2nd check made payable to LWVLL.
