Elder Care Task Force Update

The Elder Care Task Force of the League of Women Voters Lincoln-Lancaster County has been actively engaging with Nebraska leaders in the elder care field. Through interviews, the task force has gathered insights from healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community advocates regarding the most urgent concerns facing our aging population. These discussions have illuminated key issues such as access to quality care, caregiver support, and the impact of policy decisions on elder well-being. Looking ahead, the task force aims to use this information to advocate for sustainable solutions and informed policy recommendations. By fostering dialogue and raising awareness, the League will continue to champion efforts that ensure dignified and equitable care for older adults in our region.
