The 2025 Lincoln City Election Candidates Forums are History!
The League of Women Voters of Lincoln-Lancaster County—in our first partnership with Channel 10/11—hosted two events to engage voters with candidates for all contested races on the May 6 General Election ballot. Participation by candidates was excellent: both candidates for Airport Authority, the six candidates running for three At-Large City Council positions, and five of six candidates vying for three district seats on the Lincoln Public School Board attended.
Our voter education impact was amplified significantly due to 10/11 Now’s simulcast and recording of the Candidates Forums. As of noon on Thursday, April 24, more than 1,100 people heard directly from the candidates because of our partnership. View full recordings of the events here:

Thanks to valiant, indefatigable volunteers, without whom the events wouldn’t have seemed so seamless: Kristen Anderson, Katie Bradshaw, Nancy Comer, Judi Cook, Marianne Day, Scott Larson, intern Briahna Lawrence, Julia Metcalf, June Pederson, and Jane Witte. Kudos to the LWVLL planning team of Deb Dulgar, Judy Kelly, and Jean McGuire. On to 2026!
